Change is coming, ready or not, but this is not the kind of change you can necessarily be fully prepared for. Looking at the astrology of this month brings to mind riding the Path on a Friday night into NYC, but you don’t have a seat, and there’s no room left to grab onto a railing- so you have to brace yourself, bend your knees just so, and do your best not to fall over. Or, is that just me?
The Aries energy this month abounds. For a few days this month, 6 planets will meet there: Sun, Mercury, Moon, Mars, Saturn, Neptune- and don’t forget Chiron!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve already felt my body vibrating from all the energy already and the Aries party is only getting started!

Fire: Beginning of Beginnings
Soon, I’ll start writing on Tarot basics in depth, but you’re likely familiar with the concept of the five elements from which our reality is constructed. Four of the five elements are empirically manifested in our world: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. The ever-changing, ever-searching fifth element is Spirit.
While not necessarily true in all esoteric languages, in the world of Tarot, Fire is the primary element. The first element. It is the bridge that connects the four evident elements to the ethereal Spirit. It represents the spark of physical life from which our world is made.
Fire also comes first in astrology- the zodiacal year starts in the fiery sign of Aries. That’s why right now is so thrilling. Seven new planetary cycles are starting right before our eyes.
