What is Strangecraft?
I’ve always been a bit strange, weird, and felt a little different... and decided to embrace it!
Strangecraft might be a little different for everyone, but for me, it gives me the freedom to be who I need to be, make mistakes, learn from them, and change my mind. It takes the edge off trying to achieve perfection, embraces the off-beat, the slightly askew, and looks for the humor, even (or especially) in the dark places.

What is the symbol?
I love sigils. I work with them often, and wanted one to represent me and my Strange mission.
First, we have my name, Bridgette, helping create the S for “Strange” with a feather. The feather is a nod to my air sun sign, Aquarius, and one of my favorite Tarot suits- Swords.
Next, two interlocking branches create a 7 shape. 7 is not only my life path number but also of mystical importance in many philosophies. There is also a hidden 8 between these first two formations, for its numerological importance.
Then, the four most right branches form a W for “Witch”. The Wands suit inspires the branches' style in the Waite-Smith deck.
Finally, a small yod at the bottom of the W for the first letter of the Tetragrammaton, and a spark of inspiration. There are a few other hidden symbols and meaningful reasons within this illustration.
The Strange Mission
Sacred Reciprocity
Take care of the community. A minimum of 7% of all funds received will be donated. A commitment to learning about other people and their culture.
Justice
Learn our history of where injustice came from, then work toward correcting that through acts of charity, service, and outreach.
Life-long Learner
No matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn. Seek out knowledge in all sorts of fields to expand your understanding of the world.
Loving-Kindness
Also known as chesed. For self, for others, and all life. Kindness is one of the pillars of humanity that must be tended to frequently.
Community
Fostering or being a part of community is essential to living a full life. Participate in communities different than the ones you were raised in.
Child-Like Wonder
Once a strange witch, always a strange witch. Stay curious, pay attention to the small things, get your hands dirty, let your imagination get the best of you.
Share Resources
Reshape your vision of life back to one of a small village. Give what you can, take what you need. Be it knowledge or of the physical realm.
Fluidity
A commitment to let go of the past when a new understanding flows in. Releasing old perceptions when contrary evidence is presented.
Humbleness
This journey is not about perfection, or anything that might attempt to look like it. Observe where you are, and gently give yourself room to grow.
I believe in not only creating community, but giving back to it.
Sacred Reciprocity
The 7 in the middle of my sigil also represnts the 7% of my earnings that I will be donating to worthy causes. Because you support me- I wil be giving back. Toward the end of each year, I’ll ask you to help me decide where the donation should go! I am so grateful and honored to work with you on this part of my Strange Magic!
